Challenge: Rewriting Legacy Enterprise applications For Evolving business Requirements

America Online, Inc., a leading interactive services company, needed to rewrite an in-house media application which automated workflow, processed media and integrated metadata into an AOL specific format.  Timing was critical for two reasons: (1) the legacy application no longer supported the internal users’ business requirements; (2) due to a business transformation project, the original product managers, software developers and deployment engineers were no longer available.  AOL needed a team that could quickly define, build and deploy a high performance, enterprise application that would deliver actionable results.
