Process Consultant

Digital Foundry, Inc. is a leading business and software consulting firm looking to bring on a few talented software consultants at its waterfront office in sunny Tiburon, CA.  You will help Digital Foundry plan, build, and maintain highly visible custom software for start-ups and large multinational companies.

Responsibilities

During a strategic engagement, the Process Consultant maps the clients' business processes, identifies opportunities to boost efficiency, and recommends appropriate solutions.  During a development engagement, the Process Consultant periodically reviews progress to ensure requirements are fulfilled and new opportunities are recognized. At various points in the project lifecycle, the Process Consultant will work with Digital Foundry’s sales, documentation, and engineering teams to refine specifications and develop required functionality.

Responsibilities include:

• Determining functional requirements
• Mapping relevant processes
• Designing functionality based on system maps
• Analyzing process flows and maps to identify gaps
• Proposing recommendations

Skills and Experience

Consultants are Digital Foundry's experts in research and analytical consulting.  Strong business and communication skills are necessary to conduct analyses, present conclusions, and prepare development plans.

Necessary skills include:

• Ability to effectively articulate Digital Foundry’s business and software consulting services
• Ability to effectively articulate each prospect’s business requirements and key success factors
• Ability to prepare documentation and executive level presentations that communicate requirements and recommendations
• 2 to 5 years consulting or software related project management experience
