Mobile Application Developer

Digital Foundry, Inc. is a leading business and software consulting firm looking to bring on a few talented software engineers at its waterfront office in sunny Tiburon, CA.  You will help Digital Foundry plan, build, and maintain highly visible custom software for start-ups and large multinational companies.

Education, Training, and Experience

• BS in Computer Science
• 4+ years of work experience
• Team leadership experience
• Customer relationship experience

Technical Skills

• Expert knowledge in one or more of the following mobile platforms:  Android, iPhone, J2ME, Windows Phone
• Knowledge and experience in mobile network protocols and programming in 3G and 4G environments
• Experience with framework development or mobile platforms development for a high traffic site and on multi-threaded, resource-constrained devices
• Familiar with mobile messaging standards and applications (SMS, MMS)
• Experience integrating with feeds and APIs from numerous content partners

Communication and Analytical Skills

• Effective verbal communication skills
• First rate writing and technical writing skills
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment and take constructive advice
• Ability to test their code and the code of others
• Aptitude to write clean, clear, commented code
• Flexible, self-motivated, hard working, "no excuses" attitude
