Digital Foundry - history

History

Digital Foundry was established in 1992 to help companies, large and small, bring software to market efficiently and cost effectively.  Since that time, we have focused and refined our methods and services to produce hundreds of on-time, on-budget projects for our clients.

Digital Foundry has evolved from creating early modem-to-modem e-commerce solutions to providing strategic services for the automation and integration of business across the demand chain.  Our early projects involved developing for technology companies such as Oracle, Houghton-Mifflin, Novell, Netscape and Microsoft.  In 1995 Digital Foundry embraced Web development and became a founding member of Microsoft's Internet Advisory Board.  With our roots firmly established in technology, we later created one of the first Web applications, called Reserve, and successfully spun it off as Amplitude Software, which was subsequently sold to Critical Path in 1999.  Throughout the

mid to late 90's, we helped plan, develop and launch a number of VC funded Internet start-ups and corporate software venture.  At the turn of the century we were engaged by a number of the world's largest telecom, energy and media companies to help simplify their business processes, reduce operating costs and improve customer satisfaction.

Today our business and software experts continue to address each client's unique online business objectives by providing a suite of software planning, implentation and maintenance services.
