Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who will help test, develop, and deliver complex, multi-tiered distributed software applications.  At Digital Foundry, QA engineers perform rigorous feature and regression tests for database-intensive Internet development and B2B integration projects and then analyze and report the results.  Working closely with project management and development engineers, QA engineers refine use cases, create test plans and draft test cases in a rapid development environment.  Digital Foundry’s work environment is dynamic, so it is important for QA engineers to feel comfortable multitasking and working in an environment with rapid development lifecycles. They are key members of their project teams and they are critical to the successful delivery of robust custom software solutions to our clients.

 
Education, Training and Experience

  • BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Testing experience (co-op, internship, summer job)
  • Software development experience (preferred) - (co-op, internship, summer job)
  • Experience working with testing documentation

Technical Skills

  • Visual Studio Team Edition for Testers is preferred
  • UML

Communications and Analytical Skills

  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • First rate writing and technical writing skills
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Ability to give and receive constructive advice
  • Ability to support multiple project initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
