Digital Foundry makes a number of DF Technologies available to its clients, some of which are briefly explained below:

DF Single Sign-on Server
Digital Foundry Single Sign-on Server technology enables the coordination of disparate servers and services within your organization, and provides a common user interface for system access. Instead of experiencing the confusion of multiple unique logins, users need only one user name and password to access all systems. With Single Sign-on, administrators have a central location to manage the accounts associated with their systems, as well as the ability to delegate management rights of subsets of accounts to other users.

DF Asynchronous Processing
Digital Foundry’s Asynchronous Processing technology allows Web-based transactions to be distributed across servers/platforms, scheduled to run in batches, or run in the background. This technology provides additional scalability and performance to your existing architecture, enabling faster request processing, decreased latency times, and a significantly enhanced user experience since clients no longer have to wait for operations to complete.

DF XML Caching Service
Digital Foundry’s XML Caching Service is a customized collection of components that reduce the load on your servers and increase the performance of your site by always providing the correct XML content to your user. The XML Caching Service utilizes a data change notification system that is systematically updated any time that changes are made to the underlying data.

Product Configurator
Digital Foundry's Product Configurator facilitates customer facing interactions by allowing customers, customer service reps, distributors and sales reps to search for, configure, price and order a product or service personalized to the customer’s preferences. The Product Configurator enforces business rules while delivering context-based content to make up-selling and cross-selling easier, which leads to higher-value orders. Used internally to improve sales productivity and order accuracy, or externally to help guide customers through product selection and purchase during an online ordering process, this technology ensures consistent information across sales channels, and increases customer satisfaction while reducing operational costs.

Content Integration Gateway
Digital Foundry's Content Integration Gateway (CIG) is a high performance, component-based infrastructure that provides users with the ability to distribute and access content in a secure fashion. The CIG dynamically brings internal and external sources of content together. This infrastructure enables content to be generated by a third party (a partner) and rendered in real-time to a specific type of customer viewing a specific company's site. The dynamic exchange and distribution of rich content means partner content is customizable and constantly updated. It also means the customer never has to leave the online checkout line to view product details on a partner's site.

DF XML Content Manager
Digital Foundry’s XML Content Manager technology allows non-developers to create and manage content via dynamic Web forms based on a specified XML Schema. The XML schema precludes the entry of incorrect data, decreasing time wasted by entering non-valid data types. Digital Foundry uses XML to describe the content, while keeping the data presentation separate. This allows data to be easily deployed and migrated to a variety of devices, such as mobile phones, Web sites, and PDAs.

Digital Foundry's XML Content Manager provides advanced searching, workflow, and deployment options. Users can search for documents using keyword, category, full text, or sentence queries. Each document type has associated workflow rules, which determine the appropriate approval and deployment process for its posting. Once a document has been approved for posting, the Digital Foundry XML Content Manager schedules it to be deployed in the next site release.

DF Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Toolkit
Digital Foundry’s Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Toolkit gives developers the infrastructure and tools they need to integrate SOAP-based Web services into their client and server applications. SOAP is a lightweight, XML-based protocol for exchanging information in a decentralized, distributed environment.

The Toolkit enables rapid development through the use of method-call-style syntax to create and send messages; it allows sending a SOAP message using the same syntax as a Remote Procedure Call (RPC). In addition, a SOAP-compliant client can consume a Web service that uses the SOAP Toolkit; likewise, a client can use the SOAP Toolkit to consume any SOAP-compliant Web service.
